I started working at XC in December 2012. My role here is Operations Manager and therefore, I am responsible for overseeing all areas of the XC. Two of those areas are Climbing and High ropes, where I am qualified to take all sessions. Climbing is definitely a favourite of mine though, and I was inspired to become fully trained in climbing after helping a blind gentleman in a climbing session when I was younger. I felt I made a difference with him in the session and he inspired me to take my interest further. Now, I can inspire people to become climbers every day.
I am one of the newest managers here at XC having only worked here since May 2015, so this part of the leisure industry is fairly new to me. Before starting at XC, I worked at Sportspace Hemel Hempstead which is where I have gained my experience within the sports and leisure industry. Outside of work, I am a keen swimmer and used to swim for Hemel Hempstead Swimming club!
I have worked at the XC from the word go and have enjoyed my time here immensely. I started as an instructor and worked my way up to where I am today. (Excuse the pun)
I enjoy writing and recording music outside of work and play a lot of video games.
I have worked for XC since May 2011, where my role is now as a Duty Manager and Climbing Instructor. My main hobbies are Rock Climbing and stamp collecting.
